Objective
To commemorate International Nurses Day, the International Labour Organization (ILO) is convening a webinar to present the findings of three studies on the use of digital technologies and AI in nursing carried out in India, Germany, and the Republic of Korea. The authors will present their findings on the types of technology being introduced and their implications for working conditions, skills requirements, quality of care, and the future of the nursing workforce. The presentations will be followed by reflections from key stakeholders, including Public Services International (PSI), employers’ representatives, and the International Council of Nurses (ICN), providing a multi‑stakeholder perspective on the governance of AI in nursing and the role of social dialogue in shaping its use in health services.
